Network and System Admin
Location : Kuwait
Description:
Providing support of IT Infrastructure (that includes Servers, Storages and Networks) including general administration and technical support, and has a working understanding of computers, servers, networks and various operating systems.
Responsible for developing the skills, processes, tactics and tools to ensure availability and reliability of the company’s IT Infrastructure.
Assisting Senior System Admin and Network Admin in their daily jobs related to Systems and Networks.
Strategic:
- * Responsible for overall infrastructure for all locations, which includes servers, storage, IT networks and telecommunications.
- * Maintain information security standards and procedures to help ensure that information assets are adequately protected and the company is compliant with industry best practices.
Operational: Network and System Admin – Kuwait
- * Provide day-to-day management and support of the company’s servers, workstations, networks, telecommunications (mobile devices and phone systems), including multi-function devices and printers, software applications, and software packages.
- * Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for the network and servers, Virtualized and cloud environment, storages and security appliances.
- * Install, configure and maintain servers, network components, storages (hardware / software)
- * Troubleshoot and resolve server and client problems.
- * Communicate information on infrastructure related topics to key stakeholders as well as identify continuous improvement possibilities for related activities.
- * Manage, support, and mentor the helpdesk team members.
Certifications (CCNA / MCSE / A+ / ITIL Foundation) will be considered a plus point.
