Urgently Required Climbing Wall Coach (Male & Female)

The Climbing Wall Coach is responsible for instructing and guiding climbers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, ensuring a safe and engaging climbing environment. The coach will lead training sessions, provide personalized feedback, and support the overall development of climbers, while maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• • Provide individual and group coaching sessions for climbers of varying skill levels.
• • Develop and implement training plans to improve climbers’ techniques, strength, and problem-solving skills.
• • Supervise climbing sessions, ensuring safety regulations are followed at all times.
• • Teach climbing safety practices, including proper belaying, spotting, and equipment use.
• • Lead warm-up and cool-down exercises tailored to climbing.
• • Assist in route setting and wall maintenance to create an engaging experience.
• • Conduct skill assessments and progress tracking for climbers.
• • Ensure all participants are properly equipped and familiar with climbing equipment.
• • Address any emergencies or injuries promptly and appropriately.
• • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the climbing community.

Skills and Qualifications

• • Certification in climbing instruction is preferred.
• • Strong knowledge of climbing techniques and safety protocols.
• • Experience in coaching or teaching, ideally in a climbing or fitness environment.
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic is advantage)
• • Ability to motivate and engage climbers of all ages and skill levels.
• • Physically fit and able to demonstrate climbing techniques.

Experience

• • 1-3 years of experience as a climbing coach or instructor.
• • Experience working with both beginner and advanced climbers.
• Work Environment
• • Indoor climbing gym environment with occasional outdoor activities.
• • May involve working evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on class schedules.
