Purchasing Manager In Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Source and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and payment terms.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials without overstocking.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to forecast needs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
-Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the catering or food service industry. With good supplier connection in Kuwait.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- With own car.
