Purchasing Manager In Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Source and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and payment terms.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials without overstocking.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to forecast needs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

-Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the catering or food service industry. With good supplier connection in Kuwait.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • With own car.
